Kyle has been over to the UK while on tour with the BFC and HPC tours in 2014 and in April this year where he had the opportunity to play against the Burnley FC academy and youth development teams amongst others. This association / pathway was then developed with Paul Wozny head of Burnley FC overseas community Australasia. The FA have encouraged UK clubs to invest in alternative pathways for players to continue an education while being able to continue to gain the very same coaching as the contracted full time academy / Scholarship players. The program has been welcomed by some of the UK Biggest premier league clubs including Arsenal , Tottenham etc and is seen to enable the clubs to utilise this program to provide a shadow squad for there academy program. This squad of players will compete in a National U19 competition.
